Thank you for visiting Knox Prairie Community Kitchen (KPCK). We are a not-for-profit 501(c)3 volunteer organization in Galesburg, Illinois. Our mission is to serve nutritious food to our neighbors, with dignity and respect. We strengthen our community by sharing meals, and by engaging in outreach and educational activities related
to food security.
We invite you to explore our website to learn more about KPCK, attend a free community meal, and become involved as a volunteer or donor. Thank you for visiting our website!
Because we want to be fair as possible & make our dinners as enjoyable as they can be for EVERYONE, we have updated our dinner policy:
1. If you arrive before 5 pm, no worries. We just ask you to wait
in the sanctuary until the doors do open.
2. Everyone must have a ticket to be seated & served.
3. One ticket per person. We can't give a ticket to those who aren't able to attend.
4. Unfortunately, we cannot make any exceptions.
Due to concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, our March 26th dinner has been cancelled.
While this wasn't an easy decision, as we know so many depend upon and look forward to these dinners, we at The Knox Prairie Community Kitchen felt it is in the best interest for all-- our diners, our volunteers and the KPCK core members-- involved.
We hope to return to our meal service in April.
Thank you for your understanding!
Our mission could not be achieved without the support of the community and our donors. Please consider being a KPCK donor today!
